(3/24/20) Dear GDSH Customers,

Due to  “stay-at-home” executive orders that have impacted attendance at our manufacturing facilities, we are experiencing a one week or more delay in garage door production. While we are an “essential” business who maintains the safety and security of doors and access systems of residential and commercial buildings, we do have limitations on the amount of staff that we can have working during this time. Due to a limited workforce, our production capability have declined and will be suppressed for the immediate future. Therefore, incoming orders and most orders previously confirmed and scheduled for delivery will be delayed up to a week or more. We are working diligently with our freight carriers to determine and communicate revised delivery dates for all affected orders.

Unfortunately, due to the uncertainty of this situation, we are unable to specify a return to normal production capacities or publish a specific lead time. Customer Service will communicate delivery dates on a per-order basis until the situation is more stable. Feel free to reach out to us via our live chat or via phone call anytime.

We are extremely sorry for the inconvenience and will do everything possible to minimize delays.

Stay safe and thank you for your understanding.

Garage Door Supply House Team

(3/23/20) Dear GDSH Customers,

Despite the growing number of states and municipalities that have announced “Stay in Place” executive orders, our plan is to remain open for business as our company and industry qualify as an “essential service” based on our products / services being needed for emergency repair, safety, security and general maintenance of doors on residences and businesses.

Both of our industry associations, IDA and DASMA, have published “essential” business statements supporting that we are part of an “essential” business that maintains and keeps fully operational the doors and access systems in residential homes, commercial/industrial buildings and emergency facilities that are necessary for safety and security, especially in life-threatening situations.

We will continue to closely monitor the local/state executive orders to determine how they impact our company and if our operations require any revisions. We will inform you as soon as possible if any changes are needed.

Stay safe and healthy during this challenging and uncertain situation.

Thank you for your business,

Garage Door Supply House Team

(3/16/20) Dear Customers,

There is nothing more important to us than the health and well being of our customers and our employees. It is our goal to continue to fulfill orders for our customers during this time, and luckily we have had no setback in dong so thus far. We have been in contact with our manufacturer, Amarr Entrematic, and they have confirmed that the outbreak of Coronavirus COVID-19 in various locations throughout the world has not yet impacted their material supply, production, or ability to fulfill your orders. In order to continue to service you and to protect the health and safety of our team members, customers and local communities, the following actions have been taken at Entrematic and Garage Door Supply House, LLC:

  • Increased frequency and enhanced cleaning of high touch point areas, such as door handles, countertops, light switches, desks, phones, keyboards and restrooms
  • Mandate that any team member who is sick should stay at home
  • Suspended travel to/from countries/states/regions with a high number of COVID-19 cases
  • Limit travel plans to only those that are extremely necessary
  • Proactive self-quarantine of team members if possible exposure to the virus, are part of the increased risk population or are experiencing any symptoms
  • Secure work from home procedures for any team member that is quarantined

Preparedness plans continue to evolve and will develop as we learn more. For more information about the COVID-19 virus, visit the CDC or WHO or Johns Hopkins University tracker.

Once again, our focus is to protect the health and safety of our team members, customers and local communities, while continuing to service you, our customers. We will continue to communicate with you as the situation develops. If you have any additonal questions, feel free to speak to us over our Live Chat feature or give us a call anytime.
